Nova Scotia Firefighters 50-50

The Amherst Fire Fighters Association is excited to announce the launch of their weekly online 50/50 JACKPOT on behalf of all participating provincial agencies!

Each year, firefighters in Nova Scotia fundraise hundreds of thousands of dollars for various causes.  For some, they may be upgrading their level of service with a new piece of equipment or apparatus.  For others, it may be a means to support other charities or community organizations in need, or to preserve the history of their local accomplishments.  As a common goal, all organizations do this to make their communities a better and safer place to live!

ONE WINNER will receive 50% of funds raised each week!

When purchasing tickets, please select the Fire Service Personnel/Organization you are supporting, as the money they raise will directly help their group.

The money raised will help support our Firefighters across the province!

Purchase your 50/50 tickets in support of the Bridgewater Fire Department HERE

Chief’s Message

On behalf of the Officers and Members of the Bridgewater Fire Department I would like to welcome you to our website. Our Fire Department was established in 1876. We are very proud to serve the citizens of Bridgewater. With approximately 50 volunteers we provide emergency services for Fire, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Ice and Water Rescue and many others. Yearly, we respond to over 200 Emergency Calls in our community and provide assistance as requested by neighbouring Departments. Our most important asset is the dedicated group of committed and highly trained individuals who make up our Department. We hope you will join our “Team” by educating yourself and your family to be as fire safety conscious as possible. Thank you for visiting our website.
