Upcoming Events
Throughout the anniversary year, our department will host a series of special events to honour our history, recognize our members, and engage with the community we proudly serve. Planned celebrations include a community open house, the department’s annual banquet, and the honour of hosting the Lunenburg Regional Fire & Emergency Services Mutual Aid Parade during Fire Prevention Week.

LRFES Mutual Aid Parade - Wednesday, October 7, 2026 7:00 PM
We are hosting the Lunenburg Regional Fire & Emergency Services mutual aid parade this year in Bridgewater.
The Lunenburg Regional Fire and Emergency Services (LRFES) Mutual Aid Parade is a highly anticipated annual event held during Fire Prevention Week. The parade takes place on a Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM, featuring dozens of fire trucks from various volunteer departments across the county. The route will be posted on our facebook event prior to it happening.
